Good morning and Happy February (already…) !
As most of you know, we’re getting ready for our March 26, 2016, Endometriosis Awareness and Support Walk. If you haven’t heard, and you’re in the San Diego area, please click here for more info.
As part of our walk, I am raising funds for the Endometriosis Foundation of America. Every cent raised is donated directly to the E.F.A.; I don’t see one penny. If you would like to see what the E.F.A. does with their money, please read this. For every $10 donated, I’m walking one mile. It’s fun! I’m selling Bloomin’ Uterus buttons, yellow skull charms, and Bloomin’ Uterus t-shirts. More details are below:
Bloomin’ Uterus t-shirts (backside)
T-shirt sales only occur once a year…so now’s your chance! We have two designs of t-shirts available (also hoodies, long sleeves shirts, and tank tops). Both designs have the same back (see photograph above). The price varies depending on the style, but all profits are donated directly from Teespring.com to the E.F.A. (Teespring takes a percentage for materials and labor, but nearly $5 of every purchase goes to the E.F.A.). If you would like to wear your shirt to the walk, great! Or if you come to any of our other events (support groups, work shops, etc.), it’s a fun way to identify each other. And it’s an amazing conversation starter and a great way to spread awareness among your community.
Design No. 1 : The Bloomin’ Uterus logo is centered low on the t-shirt , placed close to the position of a uterus (haha). Prices range from $20 – $30, depending on style (there’s a drop down menu under “Available Styles” that shows different styles). If you’d like to purchase one of these, please click here. T-shirt sales end February 22, 2016.
Design No. 2 : The Bloomin’ Uterus logo is small and placed near the left side of the chest on the t-shirt front. This design has also been favored by many. Prices range from $20 – $30, depending on style (there’s a drop down menu under “Available Styles” that shows different styles). If you’d like to purchase one of these, please click here. T-shirt sales end February 22, 2016.
For a $2.00 donation, you can purchase the button that started it all. After my diagnosis, I designed this to remind myself that I’m still beautiful, even if my body harbors such a horrible disease. Many women, and their families, now sport this badge as a reminder to themselves that they are not alone and are also beautiful. If you’d like a button, you can donate the $2.00 here. Gofundme donates the money directly to the E.F.A. in the form of a check.
Yellow is the color for Endometriosis Awareness. One of our local EndoSisters, Linda Lee, makes beautiful bead-work creations, and she has donated these little yellow skull charms to our fundraising efforts. There are only three (3) skulls left, but one can be yours for just $10! Handmade and one-of-a-kind. I have mine swinging from my rear view mirror, others have attached them to necklaces and cell phones. If you would like one of these little skully charms, please donate $10 here and specify in your comments that it’s for the skull charm.
Please never feel obligated to donate. Ever. But if you do, THANK YOU!
