Feel Good Fridays

Puddle in Loddebo by W. Carter

Well, January is almost half-over. Already. Where has it gone?

Today’s quote is one we can hold dear with anything we’re going through. And I mean anything:

“Every path hath a puddle.” ~John Ray; A Collection of English Proverbs.

Now what we do with the puddle in our path is our own choice:

We can go around it (maybe).

We can turn around and walk away, avoiding it completely.

We can do nothing and hope it dries up on its own.

We can wallow in it.

We can skip through it.

We can somehow build a bridge with the help of others.

We can jump over it.

We can stare into it, gazing at our reflection and take a moment of introspection.

Or…any combination of the above.

How will you tackle your puddles?

  1. Heya.
In order to stimulate myself I now have a activity day on Friday all day long. So far these are some of the activities I’ve done over the past two years. It is a weekly tradition. And it works well. Every Friday I treat myself.

    Make a bird box

    Bake cakes

    Sew

    Host a game evening

    Organise a colouring competition

    Try making a bookmark

    Arts and crafts

    Read a story

    Sing

Act out scenes in a play

    Write poetry

    Hook a duck

    And so on
