Today’s quote is short and to the point.
Hang in there.
Whatever you’re going through: hang in there.
“There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.”
― John Green, Turtles All the Way Down
And if you need someone to talk to, I’m right here.
Today I met with another gynae who I hope is my last. He’s not convinced of my umbilical endometriosis suspicion as I don’t have a cycle and I’m now menopausal. I’m booked in for another MRI as it possibly is a post operative fistula – everyone is like ‘that’s good’ … I guess it is. I survived twenty years of little to no help, cysts bursting inside me, searing electrical endometriosis pain, two laser treatments and a migration to my belly button only to find out I’m most likely going to have to ride it out for another ten years.
If I wasn’t so strong I’d cry – so here’s to all the women who experience these levels of pain and get through – Happy Friday 🧡
