It’s raining outside. I love it. It smells fresh. And my plants are getting some water without me having to do it. Haha.
I’ve had a full week of medical appointments and I am utterly exhausted. So, I’m loving the weather right now. Just sort of want to sit back, sip on some tea, snuggle under a blanket, and relax.
But, I’m at work.
That’s okay, though. I can still imagine I’m under the covers with a steaming mug o’tea.

Whatever you may be going through, may you find a way beyond.
Big hugs to each of you.

Hello Lisa!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and struggle with endometriosis. I’m a mother of a 22 old girl and she’s been diagnosed with endometriosis a couple of days ago. I was devastated 😢 She’s in a lot of pain and to make it worse she’s studying abroad and I can’t go to comfort her and be with her 💔 I feel helpless. I don’t want her to suffer, she’s still young and has a future ahead, she didn’t even graduate, that’s unfair. Please tell me what can I do to make her feel better?
Thank you and have a nice weekend.

Mounira, I am so sorry! The biggest thing? Be there for her. Listen to her. Acknowledge her feelings and never doubt her pain. Ask if there’s anything you can do: mail her heating pads, or a pain journal, or anything. What country is she studying in? There’s a beautiful book written by Dr. Cook that really helped my Mum understand what I was going through: “The Endo Patient’s Survival Guide: A Patient’s Guide to Endometriosis & Chronic Pelvic Pain.” Would you like me to send you the link?
I’m here if you need anything!
