What a week it’s been! Crazy at work. And endless chores and repairs at home. But one huge reprieve from a stressful week?
Doctor-ordered soaks in a hot bath for my healing bum.
They’ve been glorious. I’d forgotten how much I miss just relaxing in a hot, sudsy or epsom-salty bath. I even found a few “bath time meditations” on Youtube to further that relaxation.
“I love the magic of a hot bath, how time pauses and every grievance melts away.”
If you’re down in the depths, try to find something to make you smile. A memory, a thought, a thing, a book, a quote, a TV show, a friend, a pet, a game, or even sleep and find it in a dream.
May you find peace.
Blogs I updated this week:
C-Sections & Endometriosis: added a March 2018 study published in the International Journal of Reproduction, Contraception, Obstetrics & Gynecology of a woman who had a large purple lump on her c-section scar that oozed greenish fluid during her periods. Any guesses as to the diagnosis?
Lupron Depot: My Experience: added an update as to how I’m doing three years later, as well as a 2018 study of long-term effects of Lupron Depot use, published in the Journal of Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology
It’s Friday!!! And a lucky one at that! St. Patrick’s Day has always been one of my favorites! Why? I get to wear insane amounts of my favorite color: GREEN! 😀 So here I am in a gigantic puffy green top hat, my shamrock tank top, absurd shiny green eyeshadow, and a chunk green ring. I was giggling on my entire drive to work since my top hat had smooshed up against the roof of the Jeep. Just…FUN!
“It’s okay to be absurd, ridiculous, and downright irrational at times; silliness is sweet syrup that helps us swallow the bitter pills of life.”
EMBRACE your inner silliness every once in a while! Be a goof. Enjoy life. LAUGH! …and…
Have a wonderful weekend!
💚 Lisa

“Every sunrise is an invitation for us to arise and brighten someone’s day.”
Be kind to those around you. Strike up a conversation with a stranger. Say “hello” when passing someone. Smile. Hold open the door. Offer a homeless person a bottle of water, an apple, or a $1 or $2. Reach up and get something off a high shelf for someone obviously reaching for it. Ask someone how their day is going…and truly listen to their response.
Get out there and make someone’s day! And happy Weekend!
